Open Houses

We do regular open houses throughout the season. You are welcome to stop by any of the posted dates and tour our micro-farm as we discuss what are we doing and how you can do the same. Currently, open houses are suspended.

We offer a 1-day Introduction to beekeeping, perfect for the curious or the person that wants to investigate what beekeeping is all about; an Introduction to Beekeeping training in February, a Practical Beekeeping Course in April, and a season-long hands-on Advanced Beekeeping, for those that would like to have some real experience before considering investing in hives, equipment, and bees. We also offer special Adult/Child events where parents and kids learn together about the bees and on-site group presentations (limited in size) for home-schoolers, clubs, etc. If you are interested in learning about anything that we do, please contact us to discuss.

Off-site presentations

We are frequently invited to speak to Elementary Schools, Boy and Cub scouts groups, and other organizations. If you would like us to discuss with your group topics like beekeeping, gardening, homesteading and more, just get in contact with us

Internship opportunities

There is the opportunity for learning by doing with us, we look for hard-working people that would like to help out with harvest and processing and other maintenance tasks.
